Latest Event - Annual Golf Tournament 2009
The Singapore Scout Guild is organizing a Charity Golf 2009 to be held on 15th October 2009 at Tanah Merah Country Club.  A dinner will be held in the evening and The President and Chief Scout will be the Guest of Honour. 

The main objective of the Scout Charity Golf 2009 is to raise funds for The Singapore Scout Association.

Recent activities @7th June 2009 - Visit to Singapore Civil Defense Academy
The Singapore Scout Guild organised a visit to the Civil Defence Academy on saturday, 27th June 2009. 
The exciting program was prepared specially by the CDA for the Guild.

Details are as follows:-
Venue: Singapore Civil Defence Academy
Date: 27th June 2009
Time: 0945 hrs meet at the SCDA foyer
Parking Facilities: Available with registration of Car vehicle number ahead of time.
Public transport : SBS 172 stops right in front of SCDA
Scout Association Transport: Leave SSA HQ at 0900hrs sharp. Limited Seating, First come, first served.

Past Activities - Sat. 24th May 2008
The Scout Management Committee organised a visit to the Forensic Management branch, Criminal Investigation Department, Cantonment Complex on Sat 24th May.


31 participants attended the visit to the Forensic Management branch. They met at the Security Counter at the Police Cantonment Complex (junction of New bridge Road and Cantonment Road).

Participants were briefed on Crime Scene Managment and Investigation and visited the FMB laboratory where they saw how evidence from crime scenes were handled and crimes were solved using the various technologies available to the laboratory. Participants were also provided with a Tea Break.














Recent Activities - Annual General Meeting followed by Campfire entertainment.

Social Luncheons

Regular Monthly Luncheons hosted by various committee members open by invitation to Rovers and potential Guild Members and spouse. Dates to be announed on Guild website from time to time./

Golf Tournament
A biennial golf tournament is organised for members to raise funds to support the Scout Association and for the Guild’s activities. Hikes, camps and camping are also organised periodically for members and their families.

Talks
Various talks are organised – wine-tasting, screening of local film "881" and meet production team, bird-watching,photographyetc.

Visits
Visits to various institutions and public organisation are organised – StarHub Telemedia - see how our TV is broadcasted. Organic Mushroom Farm - see how mushroom is cultivated and harvested. etc. etc.

Joint Activities
Joint activities with our sister organisation, the TrefoilGuild. We invite each other to our respective functions and activities.This has helped to build stronger bonds with our sister guides.

Financial and Other Support
The Scout Guild also financially assisted the SingaporeScout Association in sending our Scouts to overseas programmes, organisingworkshops for Scout Leaders and partially funding the Benjamin Henry ShearesScout Scholarship.

Guild members also help in the testing of proficiency badges.
